Dr Damjan Kavaš and Dr Nika Murovec participated as experts in the EU-Japan Region-to-Region Innovation Cooperation Community of Practice Networking Meeting in Tokyo on 24 June. At the meeting, Dr Kavaš presented the content and process of the preparation of the Regional Innovation Strategy for the Ljubljana Urban Region. Between 25 and 28 June, they also visited the Kawasaki Business Innovation Center, Nagoya Innovator's Garage, Nagono Campus and Pre-Station AI Nagoya, Kyoto Prefectural Government, Advanced Telecommunication Research Institute Kyoto and Art and Technology Village Kyoto. The visits were aimed at exchanging experiences in fostering innovation at regional level in the EU and Japan.
