The special library of the Institute for Economic Research provides information support in the field of economics and related sciences to the study and research process, both for researchers at the Institute and the general public.

The library is the active member of the COBISS system. Its collection currently comprises around 25,000 units of library material.

In 1993, it acquired the status of a depository library for the World Bank and, accordingly, received its publications issued in the period 1993-2017.

Reference data on the material is accessible via the central public library catalogue COBISS Plus, while information on older material is available at the library through the alphabetical author/title catalogue (AIK) and the subject catalogue.
