The Festival of the Third Age is the largest event for older people in Europe, created to mark the International Year of Older People (1999), and is dedicated to active ageing, improving the quality of life of older people and promoting solidarity between the generations.

In a short presentation at this year's Festival, we presented the results of three recent scientific papers using data from the Survey on Health, Ageing and Retirement in Europe (SHARE) - the largest and central database on population ageing in Europe (https://share-eric.eu/).
