In the framework of the 11th European Workshop on Applied Cultural Economics (EWACE), held in Segovia, Spain, 4-6 September 2024, IER Fellow Dr Andrej Srakar presented a joint paper with Prof. Marilena Vecca, in which they apply new methodologies for the development of network analysis to the identification and observation of the initial node of the network of Dutch galleries in the years 2000-2010.

The EWACE workshops have been held since 2003 and aim to present the latest advances in the development of mathematical and econometric methods in cultural economics. The 6th EWACE workshop was also held at the Faculty of Economics, University of Ljubljana in 2013.
