Dr Andrej Srakar, researcher at the Institute of Economic Research, as coordinator of the 23rd EYSM last year, will be a member of the International Organizing Committee (IOC) for the 24th European Young Statisticians Meeting (EYSM) under the auspices of the Bernoulli Society, to be held from 21 to 25 July 2025 at the Carlo Alberto College in Turin, Italy.

The EYSM meetings are the main international events in the fields of probability and mathematical statistics for junior researchers. In 2023, the EYSM will be held in Slovenia for the first time.
