On 19 June 2024, the Government of the Republic of Slovenia adopted the first National Intellectual Property Strategy 2030, further recognising the role of intellectual property in fostering innovation, creativity and knowledge sharing, and the importance of its strategic management. The Institute for Economic Research prepared an analysis of the intellectual property system in Slovenia and contributed to the preparation of the strategy.
