The 20th International conference Applied Statistics will take place at FAMNIT in Koper from 23 to 25 September 2024.

Dr Andrej Srakar, Fellow at the IER, will present his paper, entitled 'Spectral CLTs with long memory for large language models', which was also presented at the recent Royal Statistical Society conference as part of the main program.

The three-day conference will also include an introductory workshop by Prof. Dr. Hein Putter (Leiden University) on modern methods of survival analysis. More details on https://as.mf.uni-lj.si/.
