Dr Andrej Srakar, Fellow at the Institute of Economic Research, will organise a special session on free probability and random matrices with four foreign speakers and present his paper Solution to Stochastic Loewner Equation with Several Complex Variables using Nevanlinna Theory at the 11th World Congress in Probability and Statistics of the Bernoulli Society and the Institute of Mathematical Statistics, to be held in Bochum, Germany, from 12 to 16 August. The Bernoulli Society and IMS World Congresses in Probability and Statistics have been held every four years since 1986, when the first one was held in Tashkent. It is the central international event in probability and mathematical statistics. At the 10th Congress, Dr Srakar was awarded first prize in the opening workshop for young researchers.
