The Institute for Economic Research participated in the preparation of the \"Future of Jobs Report 2025\" by the World Economic Forum. For the first time, the report also includes data and analyses for Slovenia, marking an important milestone for our country.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Global macrotrends across technology, economy, geopolitics, demographics and green transition are projected to generate 170 million new jobs by 2030, while displacing 92 million, resulting in a net increase of 78 million jobs. However, urgent upskilling is needed with nearly 40% of skills required on the job set to change.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The inclusion of Slovenia in the report provides a better understanding and comparison of labor market trends and the necessary adjustments in our country. IER will continue to actively contribute to research and analysis that supports the development of the Slovenian economy and society.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In\u0161titut za ekonomska raziskovanja je sodeloval pri pripravi “Future of Jobs Report 2025” Svetovnega gospodarskega foruma. Poro\u010dilo prvi\u010d vklju\u010duje tudi podatke in analize za Slovenijo, kar predstavlja pomemben mejnik za na\u0161o dr\u017eavo. Globalni makrotrendi na podro\u010djih tehnologije, gospodarstva, geopolitike, demografije in zelene tranzicije naj bi do leta 2030 ustvarili 170 milijonov novih delovnih mest, medtem ko naj bi jih 92 milijonov izginilo, kar pomeni neto pove\u010danje za 78 milijonov delovnih mest. Kljub temu je nujno potrebno izbolj\u0161anje ve\u0161\u010din, saj naj bi se skoraj 40 % potrebnih ve\u0161\u010din na delovnem mestu spremenilo. Vklju\u010ditev Slovenije v poro\u010dilo omogo\u010da bolj\u0161e razumevanje in primerjavo trendov na trgu dela ter potrebnih prilagoditev v na\u0161i dr\u017eavi. IER bo \u0161e naprej aktivno sodeloval pri raziskavah in analizah, ki prispevajo k razvoju slovenskega gospodarstva in dru\u017ebe.
