Dr Andrej Srakar, Fellow at the Institute for Economic Research, will co-organise two special sessions on mathematical aspects of structural equation models and recent advances in symbolic data analysis at the 18th International Conference of the Computational and Financial Econometrics (CFE) and Computational and Methodological Statistics (CMStatistics) Associations in December 2024. He will also present his paper on introducing elements of mathematical ageing into regression models.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The CFE-CMStatistics conferences have been held since 2007, when the first one took place in Geneva, Switzerland. Each year they attract between 1500 and 2000 participants from the fields of econometrics and mathematical statistics. Dr Srakar was a member of the scientific committee of the 2023 conference.
