On Friday 9 October 2026, the results of the targeted research project The status and development of the research career system in Slovenia in light of the Recommendations of the EU Council and the OECD, carried out by the Center for diplomatic, international economic and legal studies and the Institute for the Economic Research, were presented at the Faculty of Social Sciences.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As part of the event, Klemen Koman from the IER presented the results of an international comparison of researchers' career systems in five European countries\u2014Austria, the Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, and Croatia\u2014as well as key findings regarding their characteristics, challenges, and best practices. Dr. Bo\u0161tjan Udovi\u010d from the Faculty of Social Sciences presented the results of a qualitative study conducted among decision-makers and directors of Slovenian public research institutions. This study provided more detailed insights into the state of research careers in Slovenia and the challenges they face. Several key starting points for formulating recommendations for the further development of the career system for researchers in Slovenia were also presented for the first time on this occasion. These are based on findings from all previous phases of the project.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

V petek, 9. oktobra 2026, je na Fakulteti za dru\u017ebene vede Univerze v Ljubljani (FDV) potekala javna predstavitev rezultatov ciljnega raziskovalnega projekta \u00bbStanje in razvoj kariernega sistema raziskovalk in raziskovalcev v Sloveniji glede na priporo\u010dila Sveta EU in OECD\u00ab, ki ga izvajata Center za diplomatske, mednarodnoekonomske in pravne \u0161tudije na FDV ter In\u0161titut za ekonomska raziskovanja. V okviru dogodka je mag. Klemen Koman z IER predstavil rezultate mednarodne primerjave kariernih sistemov raziskovalk in raziskovalcev v petih evropskih dr\u017eavah \u2013 Avstriji, \u010ce\u0161ki, Danski, Finski in Hrva\u0161ki \u2013 ter klju\u010dne ugotovitve o njihovih zna\u010dilnostih, izzivih in dobrih praksah. Dr. Bo\u0161tjan Udovi\u010d s FDV je predstavil rezultate kvalitativne raziskave med odlo\u010devalci in direktorji slovenskih javnih raziskovalnih zavodov, ki je omogo\u010dila podrobnej\u0161i vpogled v stanje in izzive raziskovalnih karier v Sloveniji. Ob tej prilo\u017enosti so bila prvi\u010d predstavljena tudi nekatera klju\u010dna izhodi\u0161\u010da za oblikovanje priporo\u010dil za nadaljnji razvoj kariernega sistema raziskovalk in raziskovalcev v Sloveniji, ki temeljijo na ugotovitvah vseh dosedanjih faz projekta.
