{"id":10761,"date":"2024-12-02T08:02:00","date_gmt":"2024-12-02T08:02:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.ier.si\/?p=10761"},"modified":"2026-01-21T09:22:02","modified_gmt":"2026-01-21T09:22:02","slug":"udelezba-na-slovensko-francoskem-dnevu-obrambne-industrije","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.ier.si\/en\/udelezba-na-slovensko-francoskem-dnevu-obrambne-industrije\/","title":{"rendered":"Participation in the Slovenian-French Defense Industry Day"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>On November 26, 2024, the Slovenian-French Defense Industry Day was held at the Grand Plaza Hotel in Ljubljana, organized by the SPIRIT Slovenia Public Agency, the Ministry of Economy, Tourism, and Sport, the Slovenian Defense Industry Cluster (GOIS), and the Defense Sector of the French Embassy in Austria. The event was intended to present the best practices and achievements of the defense industries of both countries and to promote cooperation and the development of new business and research opportunities.<br><br>Luka Radi\u010devi\u0107 from the Institute of Economic Research attended the event with the aim of learning about current trends in the defense industry and identifying potential research challenges at the intersection of technological development, innovation, and the economy. Special attention was paid to areas with significant dual potential <em>(i.e., the potential for both military and civilian applications<\/em>),  and the development of new technologies and products that could be used in the defense industry.<br><br>The event included an extensive program of B2B meetings, during which the IER representative held meetings with representatives of French companies Thales, MBDA, Cilas, and OCEA. Participation in the event contributed to a better understanding of industrial needs and development trends and provides a starting point for consideration of future research topics and possible forms of cooperation in areas with high added value.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Dne 26. novembra 2024 je v hotelu Grand Plaza v Ljubljani potekal Slovensko-francoski dan obrambne industrije, ki so ga organizirali Javna agencija SPIRIT Slovenija, Ministrstvo za gospodarstvo, turizem in \u0161port, Grozd obrambne industrije Slovenije (GOIS) ter Obrambni sektor Francoskega veleposlani\u0161tva v Avstriji. Dogodka se je udele\u017eil tudi Luka Radi\u010devi\u0107 z In\u0161tituta za ekonomska raziskovanja, in sicer z namenom spoznavanja aktualnih trendov v obrambni industriji ter identifikacije potencialnih raziskovalnih izzivov na prese\u010di\u0161\u010du tehnolo\u0161kega razvoja, inovacij in gospodarstva. Posebna pozornost je bila namenjena podro\u010djem z izrazitim dvojnim potencialom (angl. dual-use tech), kjer se prepletajo civilne in obrambne aplikacije tehnologij. V okviru dogodka je potekal obse\u017een program B2B sre\u010danj, v sklopu katerih je predstavnik IER opravil sestanke s predstavniki francoskih podjetij Thales, MBDA, Cilas in OCEA.
