The event was organized in cooperation with the Slovenian National Cyber Security Response Center SI-CERT and was primarily dedicated to the human aspect of cyber security, risk communication, and the effectiveness of awareness-raising approaches.<br><br>Luka Radi\u010devi\u0107, a young researcher at our institute, attended the conference, as his participation was related to his previous research work in the field of cyber security, particularly from the perspective of the impact of artificial intelligence on the security of individuals.<br><br>The conference program brought together contributions from experts from European institutions, academia, and the private sector, addressing topics such as the psychology of cybercrime, human factors in cyber attacks, the role of storytelling and gamification in raising awareness, and adapting security approaches to different target groups. Particular emphasis was placed on considering how new technologies, including artificial intelligence, are changing security risks and responses to them.<br><br>Participation in the conference contributed to a deeper understanding of current European debates in the field of cyber security and strengthened the research competencies of the IER at the intersection of technology, security, and the social impacts of digital transformation.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Dne 27. novembra 2024 je v Cankarjevem domu v Ljubljani potekala 1. konferenca Evropske agencije za kibernetsko varnost (ENISA) z naslovom: Reframing Cybersecurity Awareness Raising. Dogodek je bil organiziran v sodelovanju s slovenskim nacionalnim odzivnim centrom za kibernetsko varnost SI-CERT ter je bil posve\u010den predvsem \u010dlove\u0161kemu vidiku kibernetske varnosti, komunikaciji tveganj in u\u010dinkovitosti ozave\u0161\u010devalnih pristopov. Konference se je udele\u017eil tudi Luka Radi\u010devi\u0107, mladi raziskovalec na\u0161ega in\u0161tituta, saj je bila udele\u017eba vsebinsko povezana z njegovim dosedanjim raziskovalnim delom na podro\u010dju kibernetske varnosti, zlasti z vidika vpliva umetne inteligence na varnost posameznika, dr\u017eave in mednarodne skupnosti, kar je bilo tudi osrednje raziskovalno izhodi\u0161\u010de njegove magistrske naloge. Program konference je zdru\u017eeval prispevke strokovnjakov iz evropskih institucij, akademskega okolja in zasebnega sektorja ter obravnaval teme, kot so psihologija kibernetskega kriminala, \u010dlove\u0161ki dejavniki kibernetskih napadov, vloga pripovedovanja zgodb in igrifikacije pri ozave\u0161\u010danju ter prilagajanje varnostnih pristopov razli\u010dnim ciljnim skupinam. Poseben poudarek je bil namenjen razmisleku o tem, kako nove tehnologije, vklju\u010dno z umetno inteligenco, spreminjajo varnostna tveganja in odzive nanje.
