On October 3, 2025, the Skillifai AI Day event was held at the Crystal Palace in Ljubljana, organized by Skillifai with the aim of demonstrating how artificial intelligence is already changing business in Slovenia today. The event brought together leading experts from companies such as Microsoft, AstraZeneca, Telekom Slovenije, and NLB, using specific examples to illustrate successful and less successful approaches to integrating artificial intelligence into business processes.
Participants emphasized the importance of practical approaches, strategic understanding, and interdisciplinary cooperation for the successful application of AI in the economy. Without theoretical baggage and excessive hype, the discussions highlighted the real challenges companies face when implementing AI solutions.
The event was attended by Luka Radi\u010devi\u0107, a young researcher at the Institute of Economic Research, who is helping to put the institute at the forefront of the effective and ethical use of digital technologies in research.
