On October 21, 2025, the Crystal Palace in Ljubljana hosted the Change Makers \u2013 Leadership in Times of Change conference, organized by Beyond Leadership Slovenia<\/a>This was the first conference in Slovenia dedicated to competitiveness and leadership in times of change. The conference brought together leaders, visionaries, and entrepreneurs with a common idea of how to lead and succeed in times of change. Top speakers, representatives of professional associations, business associations, and companies presented their stories of entrepreneurial courage, innovation, and change, and talked about what Slovenia needs to break into the top 20 most competitive countries in the world. At the event, Damjan Kava\u0161, Director of IER, and Sonja Ur\u0161i\u010d, IER researcher, highlighted Slovenia's competitiveness results based on the IMD World Competitiveness Ranking survey, which is prepared by the International Institute for Management Development (IMD) in Lausanne in collaboration with partner organizations\u2014in Slovenia, these are the Institute of Economic Research and the Faculty of Economics at the University of Ljubljana. V Kristalni pala\u010di v Ljubljani je 21. oktobra 2025 potekala konferenca Change Makers – Voditeljstvo v \u010dasu sprememb v organizaciji Beyond Leadership Slovenia. Gre za prvo konferenco v Sloveniji, posve\u010deno konkuren\u010dnosti in voditeljstvu v \u010dasu sprememb. Konferenca je zdru\u017eila voditelje, vizionarje in podjetnike s skupno idejo, kako voditi in zmagovati v \u010dasu sprememb. Vrhunski govorci, predstavniki stroke, gospodarskih zdru\u017eenj in podjetij so predstavili svoje zgodbe o podjetni\u0161kem pogumu, inovacijah in spremembah ter spregovorili o tem, kaj Slovenija potrebuje za preboj med 20 najkonkuren\u010dnej\u0161ih dr\u017eav na svetu.
