INFRASTRUCTURE PROGRAM<\/span><\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

The infrastructure program is primarily focused on providing IT infrastructure to members of the research program group and other researchers of the institute, as well as to external users. SHARE international infrastructure program, included in the Slovenian Research Infrastructure Development Plan, is also a part of our research infrastructure. The data from SHARE has already been used to prepare the expert basis for structural reforms in the field of pensions, long-term care and healthcare.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

SHARE research infrastructure<\/h2>

SHARE, the Survey of Health, Ageing and Retirement in Europe (SHARE<\/a>), is an interdisciplinary international panel database of microdata on the health, socio-economic status, social and family networks of approximately 140,000 individuals aged 50 years and over (approximately 380,000 interviews have been conducted). SHARE covers 27 European countries and Israel. The key objective of the survey is to establish an infrastructure, i.e. a database, which allows researchers to investigate the processes of population ageing free of charge and thus enable public policy planners to design appropriate policies and reforms supported by data. Slovenia joined the survey in 2009, when preparations for the implementation of the 4th wave of the survey started. INFRASTRUKTURNI PROGRAM Infrastrukturni program se usmerja predvsem v zagotavljanje informacijske infrastrukture \u010dlanom programske skupine in drugim raziskovalcem In\u0161tituta ter zunanjim uporabnikom. V sklopu infrastrukturnega programa deluje tudi mednarodni infrastrukturni program SHARE, ki ga je Slovenija uvrstila med na\u010drt razvoja raziskovalne infrastrukture (NRRI). Podatki so \u017ee bili uporabljeni tudi za pripravo strokovnih podlag za strukturne reforme na podro\u010dju pokojnin, dolgotrajne oskrbe in zdravstva. Raziskava SHARE Raziskava o zdravju, procesu staranja in upokojevanju v Evropi (SHARE) je interdisciplinarna mednarodna panelna baza mikropodatkov o zdravju, socialno-ekonomskem polo\u017eaju ter socialnih in dru\u017einskih omre\u017ejih pribli\u017eno 140.000 posameznikov, starih 50 let ali ve\u010d (opravljenih je bilo pribli\u017eno 380.000 intervjujev). SHARE zajema 27 evropskih dr\u017eav in Izrael. Klju\u010dni cilj raziskave je vzpostaviti infrastrukturo, torej bazo podatkov, ki bo raziskovalcem brezpla\u010dno omogo\u010dila raziskovanje procesov staranja prebivalstva in s tem na\u010drtovalcem javnih politik omogo\u010dila s podatki podprto na\u010drtovanje ustreznih politik in reform. Slovenija se je raziskavi priklju\u010dila leta 2009, ko so se pri\u010dele priprave na izvajanje 4. vala raziskave.
